I can’t believe it has been eight years, today, since I married my best friend! I truly don’t know where the time went. It still feels like yesterday when we were at the alter saying our vows in front of all of our friends and family.

First Dance

Aside from the day Keenan was born, it was the best day of my life. I can’t imagine my life without anyone else, or having a better father for our son.

Wedding party

Everyday is an adventure with my husband. There is never a dull moment with him, as he continually makes me laugh, which I love! Though we each have our own quirks, we compliment each other and have so much fun together. I can’t wait for many more years to come!

Wedding day

Since we are in the midst of packing and moving next week, we are not doing much in terms of celebrating today. We are planning a little getaway to the coast next month, once we are all moved and settled to really celebrate and relax. But, tonight, we are looking forward to getting food from our favorite little Mexican restaurant after Keenan goes to bed and catching up on our favorite TV shows. Keenan and I are also going to bake a mini carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for a special dessert that my husband doesn’t know about. It should be a simple, but nice evening!

It’s time to get started on our cake. Have a wonderful day!
