Happy Friday!

I’m so glad it is Friday, because I’m definitely ready for a little rest and relaxation this weekend. It’s been a chaotic week with work being done on our garage gym, meeting with our contractor, establishing new doctors, getting ready for Keenan’s birthday party and tackling my never ending to-do list!

Fortunately, I’ve scheduled myself a little pampering tomorrow. I’m getting a mini-facial a much needed pedicure!  It’s been long overdue, so I can’t wait!

Anyhow, it’s time for another edition of Friday Favorites!  If you are new here, every Friday is a chance to slow down among the craziness of life, reflect back on the week and cherish some your favorite moments, eats and/or workouts. Favorite Moment:

Enjoying a day with friends at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco! It was fun to watch the kids have so much fun together!

Favorite Eat:

This is a toss-up, because I have enjoyed making P28 turkey wraps for lunch all week,

Favorite Workout:

A 14 minute every minute on the minute WOD:

5 KB Swings (35 lbs)

5 Sit ups

5 jump squats

I used an interval timer on my iphone and set it for 14, 1 minute intervals. On every minute, I performed all of the reps and with the time remaining (until the next minute), I rested.

The WOD may not seem like a lot work, but after the 9th or 10th minute, you start to feel it! If I wasn’t pregnant, I would probably increase the reps to 10 of each, but in order to keep my breathing and heart rate under control, I kept the rep count low.
