Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a marvelous weekend!
We had a super busy, but fun-filled weekend at our church festival. Since things were so busy, we are all in need of one extra day to rest and recover!
First things first, marvelous is…
Our little guy snuggling in our bed early on Saturday morning and watching some Elmo on my nook while my husband and I tried to get a little extra sleep, ha!
Starting our Saturday morning with cappuccinos and Paleo Almond Blueberry Pancakes! We promised Keenan if he stayed dry for three nights in a row, he could earn a special treat of his choice. Since Friday night was the third day that he stayed dry (whohoo!), he got to choose his treat on Saturday morning, which was a decaf cappuccino! He loves to taste my coffee in the morning, so he was so thrilled to have his own (which was a mini version of mine!).
Having a night out on Saturday to attend our Church’s annual festival dinner while Keenan was babysat by a family friend.
Attending our church festival on Sunday, playing all of the little games with Keenan and winning some fun prizes including a gardening kit and a water gun!
My husband was also in charge of planning some old school activities for the kids such as capture the flag, relay races and water balloon tosses, which all of the kids loved. Keenan was especially excited for the water balloon tosses and boy, did he and my husband get soaked!!
Thanks, Katie, for hosting another Marvelous In My Monday!
That’s it for today. It’s time to get some housework done before picking Keenan up from preschool!
Questions:
Did you do anything marvelous this past weekend?
Do you ever wish that there were permanent three-day weekends? Even though I stay home with Keenan, it is so nice to have my husband home!
We just played outside all weekend long because the weather was just GORGEOUS here. Keenan’s pj’s are just precious!!
A 3 day weekend would be so nice! Glad you guys had such a good family weekend. And I’m so impressed that he’s staying dry at night already!!
I know! I’m keeping my fingers crossed it continues!
Sounds like a fabulous weekend and yay for Keenan staying dry all night! Hope he keeps it up 🙂
Thanks! Yes, I hope he does, too!
My Marvelous was seeing my 4 year old run his 1st 5k and rocking it!!!
Nice! That is awesome!
