I can’t believe we are already into July! Where did June go? In addition, I can’t believe it has already been two years since I started blogging! It seems like yesterday when I was talking to my husband about the idea of starting a blog. I’ve met so many wonderful blogging friends and learned so much these past two years that I’m excited to see what this next year brings! Thank you so much for reading Fit ‘n’ Well Mommy!

Lately it has been homemade bread/toast! Stomach flu went through our family this weekend and it’s still the only thing that sits well with me (and bananas).

So my must have food right now are Quest bars. I always carry one in my purse so that I have a good healthy snack with some protein. I often have a weird schedule for work and don’t get to eat lunch at the same time every day so I carry one so that I can snack when I get hungry. It helps me not be so hungry that I will actually make a better decision for what to eat at lunch. I even carry them whenever we go somewhere. It helps because if I get too hungry I’ll end up leaning towards the unhealthy options for meals. This way I tend to stay on track with eating right.

My current favorite snack is graham crackers and almond butter. Actually anything smothered in almond butter would work!
Hmmm. Favorite, must have food? Hardboiled eggs, can’t get enough of them lately.

I’m all about plain, salt-free rice cakes with a layer of Justin’s peanut butter and some milk chocolate chips on top. Yum!!

Fresh fruit – strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, etc. I have been hooked on fresh fruit salads lately.
