I can’t believe it has already been 10 years since I married my best friend! It seems like yesterday when we were doing the Lindy hop to “Fever” for our first dance. Where did the time go?
I can’t believe it has been that long and over 14 years since we met at UC Davis while we were in college. Time has gone by way too fast, especially now that we have two kids! I can honestly say that all of those years have been a blast and I couldn’t imagine spending my life with anyone else. My husband makes me laugh everyday, finds the humor in any situation, and knows how to cheer me up in an instant when I’m down. He is my biggest supporter and the best father to our children that I could ever ask for. I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years brings! Honey, I love you so much!
We are celebrating with our first overnight getaway (since Mirella was born) tomorrow by staying at a local Inn, Wine and Roses! I can’t wait!! In the Fall, after walnut harvest, we are planning a bigger getaway to Cabo, which will be so much fun (and our first kid-free vacation!).

My husband and I have been married for 3 years and we were able to go on a kid-free evening get away this year before baby #2 was born! As much as I love our kids, it sure is nice to be able to visit with my husband using my full brain.

Thank you!! Yes, it is so nice and so needed to have little getaways or nights-out kid-free! But, the funny thing is, my husband and I end up talking about our kids until we realize we need to take advantage of the time to talk about something else! 🙂
