I Can't Believe I Have a Two Year Old!

It seems like yesterday that my husband and I were watching a movie on our couch when I started to feel labor pains. Five and a half hours later, we welcomed our precious baby girl into the world at home in a beautiful water birth! I was so surprised that we had a girl because I felt like I was having another boy throughout my entire pregnancy. It was the best feeling in the world to finally have our little girl and for her to have a big brother. Keenan woke up that next morning (only a couple hours after I gave birth) to meet his little sister and tears streamed down my eyes seeing how excited he was to finally be a big brother. Since she was born, he was been the best big brother she could ever ask for. I hope there relationship continues to grow as they get older.

Fast forward a couple of years and I can’t believe I have a two year old! Mirella is such a fun-loving, caring, silly and sweet little girl. She makes us laugh, keeps us on our toes, loves to snuggle and best of all, gives lots of kisses and hugs. These past two years have gone by so fast, but have been fun watching her grow (and seeing her and Keenan play, and have fun together). I wish I could keep her this little forever.
