TGIF!
I’m so glad the weekend is here because we are heading to my uncle’s wedding tomorrow and I’m looking forward to a nice relaxing family day on Sunday playing with our new fury friends! So far, things have been going well. O’Malley and Lulu are slowly getting to know each other and I’ve already taught Lulu how to sit and shake hands (paws). It has been a fun couple of days enjoying our newest family members. Keenan loves to help feed them, be our designated pooper-scooper and of course, play with them!
Anyhow, since it’s Friday, it’s time for another round of Friday Favorites! If you are new here, every Friday is a chance to slow down among the craziness of life, reflect back on the week and cherish some your favorite moments, eats and/or workouts. I hope you will join me and share some of your favorites by linking up below!
Favorite Moment:
Watching Keenan do his “yard work,” as he said, by “trimming” our bushes with his chainsaw from his new tool set that he earned from staying dry at night for an entire week and not getting out of his bed (while wearing his non-matching PJ’s!).
Favorite Eat(s):
I know it doesn’t look good, but roasted beets with chicken, goat cheese and walnuts that my husband made a couple of nights ago. It was absolutely delicious!
Favorite Workout:
Monday’s wod…
100 double unders (that are starting to really feel uncomfortable now) followed by:
3 rounds:
20 kettlebell snatches (35 lbs)
20 walking lunges
20 slap planks
That’s it for today. We are off to meet our good friends for a play date and picnic! Have a great weekend!
It’s YOUR turn! What were some of your favorite moments, eats or workouts from this past week? Join the link up, or share some of them below in the comments!
Haha! I love the pic of him doing yard work in his PJ’s! He looks so grown up! I love the beet combination! sounds delicious!
I know, doesn’t he? I just love roasted beets with goat cheese! I could eat them all the time!
I knew you got the puppy, but had no idea you guys got a kitty too. They are both adorable, however I’m much more of a dog lover… so I may be more in love w/ him instead lol =)
Yes, we definitely jumped right in! We wanted to get both so they would grow up together and be friends, instead of getting two puppies at the same time. Though O’Malley is really sweet, I’m much more of a dog lover, too!
