Happy Friday!
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! We had a great time and Keenan certainly enjoyed trick-or-treating and getting lots of candy! We sorted his candy and he has already told us which ones he is going to have tomorrow, the next day and so on! We also got so many trick-or-treaters that we ran out of candy! I bought 3 huge bags from Costco, along with a fruit snack box and we were all out within a couple of hours. We definitely learned to get a lot more candy next year!
Anyhow, I’m excited for the start of November and this weekend because we are celebrating my birthday!! My actual birthday is on the 4th, so my husband and I are staying a couple of nights in San Francisco for a little (and much needed!) getaway while Keenan stays with my parents. We plan to explore more of the city and do some touristy things that we haven’t done, since we tend to always stay in the same area when we visit. We also booked a walking food tour of North Beach (the Italian district), so that should be fun! I’ll be sure to post a recap with lots of pictures!
Since it’s Friday, you know what that means…it is time for Friday Favorites! If you are new here, every Friday is a chance to slow down among the craziness of life, reflect back on the week and cherish some your favorite moments, eats and/or workouts. I hope you will join me and share some of your favorites by linking up below!
Favorite Moment:
Trick-or-treating with my favorite little Firefighter and seeing him be SO excited!
Favorite Eat(s):
Another tough one this week…it’s either a crustless broccoli cheddar quiche (recipe to come next week!) I made last night,
or my oldie, but goodie: Cilantro Lime Spaghetti Squash with Chicken
Favorite Workout:
A quick intense wod that I created:
5 rounds:
12 goblet squats (holding a 35 lb. kettlebell)
12 burpees
That’s it for today! Since we are heading to the city on Sunday for a couple of nights, I’ll see you all next Wednesday!
Have a wonderful weekend!
It’s YOUR turn! What were some of your favorite moments, eats or workouts from this past week? Join the link up, or share some of them below in the comments!
