I can’t believe we are already near the end of the Just Dance Just Sweat Dream Team campaign with only two more weeks to go. These past couple of months have flown by!

Here is how this week went…please enjoy the commentary from Keenan that hippopotamuses don’t dance (the Louis Prima song we danced to had a dancer with a hippo head)!

One of the highlights of this week was receiving the Just Dance 2014 game before it was released on October 8th! When Keenan helped me open the package, he was SUPER excited to play it! We immediately put it in our Wii and started dancing. One of the things that I noticed right away is the amount of new songs there are to choose from. There seem to be more oldies songs, too, which I love! After doing a couple of dances, we switched to the Just Sweat portion and I love that you can customize the songs for your workout. We choose different songs for each segment of our 10 minute workout (one slow and two fast) which gave us a great workout!

Just Dance 2014

The format of the 2014 game is the same as Just Dance 4 (straightforward and easy to navigate from the dance portion to the Just Sweat workout portion), but there are a lot more features to choose from. Some of the new features include the world dance floor where you can dance with anyone around the world joining a virtual crew (with your friends or other Just Dance players), the on stage mode where you are the main dancer and lead two backup dancers, party master mode where one player can choose the next dance move or switch songs right in the middle of a dance and autodance (on camera-enabled gaming platforms) where you can create your own music videos and share them across the Just Dance community. Other features are Just Dance TV, giving you the ability to search through your friends’ dance videos and see the featured video section, as well as more dances per track, karaoke and a better shop to search for songs or game updates.

Just Dance 2014

Overall, we had a blast playing the new 2014 game and I have to say I enjoyed it more than Just Dance 4. Don’t get me wrong, we have enjoyed playing the old game (and getting great workouts!), but with the amount of new songs and the ability to customize your songs for the workout portion, I love Just Dance 2014! I can’t wait to play it with our friends at our upcoming holiday party!

Just Dance 2014

Speaking of the upcoming holidays, I am 21 weeks pregnant and still feeling great! As you can see from the pictures, my belly is definitely getting bigger as the weeks pass by. I’m feeling the baby move more and more which is exiting! I’ve gained a total of 17 pounds so far, which is still within in the healthy weight range. I’m continuing to stay as active as I can by dancing a couple of times a week, in addition to doing CrossFit four days a week.

If you want to check out my fellow team members’ progress, especially since they are tracking actual metrics of weight loss, body fat loss, etc., make sure to check out the Just Sweat Dream Team board!

That’s it for today. Stay tuned for my final update in a couple of weeks!
