Happy Monday!
I’m excited for today’s post because I get to share a new workout headband with you that actually stays put AND a marvelous giveaway for this Marvelous In Monday, thanks to Katie for always hosting!
Anyhow, let’s talk headbands, especially workout ones. Is it just me or is it hard to find a good headband that stays in place throughout your entire workout that doesn’t give you a headache? I’ve had a heck of time finding the right one and fortunately, I’ve found a couple, including Bolder Band that actually does the job it is supposed to do.
Bolder Band was created by a fit mommy of three, Amy Crouse, who does CrossFit and runs. She had tried numerous headbands to keep her hair in place during her workouts, but nothing seemed to work, so she decided to sew her own. She gave a few bands to her workout buddies, which they loved, and Bolder Band was created.
I was excited when Bolder Band sent me a band to try, because aside from one other headband, nothing has worked to keep my hair back during my wods, and I hate having to stop to “fix” my hair. I put the band to the test with a wod that included pull ups, burpees and box jumps, and to my surprise, the band stayed in place (even with all of the jumping I was doing!). When I first put the band on, I have to admit that I was a little skeptical because there isn’t any velvet or a rougher piece of fabric underneath to “grab” your hair, but the material definitely held up. Since there isn’t any “grabbing” fabric underneath, it makes the band a lot more comfortable (no awful headaches!) than other headbands, as it doesn’t pull your hair. I also love the variety of fun colors and prints that the bands come in! I’ve worn the chevron print band for pretty much all of my workouts since I’ve received it because it is so comfy and really does hold your hair back!
Bolder Band was so generous that they are giving all Fit ‘n’ Well Mommy readers 10% off your purchase by entering the code: fitnwell10off AND giving away the purple band to one lucky reader!!

Well since I have short hair I would probably look like a goof but Allie (VitaTrainforLife) has short hair and pulls it off beautifully so …..I would wear it when running on my treadmill!
I would wear this to bootcamp at the gym. I havent found any headbands that work for me and stay in place.
I would wear the headband while training for my next race! Very cute 🙂
Wow, I haven’t visited your site in forever! (My blogging time is so limited lately… :/) Anyway, your baby is absolutely adorable! The last time I visited, you were I think eight months pregnant with her! Time flies. 🙂
Anyway, I would wear this headband just out and about…I have super curly hair, so hardly any headband does the trick. This one sounds like it would, though! Thanks for the giveaway!
I would wear the headband to workout. I have struggled to find a headband that works. I have the same problem with having to stop and fix my hair or my headband works it’s way off of my head.
I play tennis so I would wear it on one of my casual tennis outings.
I’d wear the headband when I am running or in yoga class. Hate those fly away hairs!
on my daily jogs / runs
So cute! I have been looking for a better headband for running and other workouts. The chevron looks great on you! Glad to be catching up on your blog! I’ve been away for a bit. 🙂
for my girls nights!
I would wear mine while I run. My hair gets so frizzy I need something to hold it back:)
