I have to say this was one of the most satisfying weekend breakfasts we have made in a long time! The Paleo Bread was perfect for French Toast! I hope you enjoy this as much as we did!

Paleo French Toast with Caramelized Bananas

Paleo French Toast with Caramelized Bananas

Ingredients

  • - 4 slices of Paleo Bread
  • - 2 eggs
  • - 3/4 cup almond milk
  • - 1 tsp vanilla
  • - 1 tsp cinnamon
  • - 2 bananas (sliced)
  • - 2 Tbsp raw honey
  • - 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. For French Toast: Mix all ingredients except for 1/2 tsp cinnamon, banana and coconut oil.
  2. Preheat griddle and melt 1/2 tsp coconut oil on top.
  3. Dip Paleo Bread slices into mix and make sure they are fully saturated.
  4. Cook bread on griddle for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned on both sides.
  5. For Caramelized Bananas: Heat a separate pan and melt 1/2 tsp coconut oil on it.
  6. Add bananas, 1/2 tsp and honey and cook, until caramelized.
  7. Divide french toast among two plates and top with bananas. Enjoy!
