I had planned to post an easy Thanksgiving side dish recipe today, but I forgot to take pictures of it, UGH! So, instead I’m going to focus on Thanksgiving morning, since I’m can’t seem to make a decision on what to make. We are having our family over for a casual breakfast while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade (a family tradition since I was a kid) before we head to my aunt and uncles’ house in the afternoon. Our menu is super simple…cranberry apple sausages from a local butcher shop, fresh fruit, something pumpkin and cappuccinos. I originally thought about making my Baked Pumpkin Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts, but I I want to try something new, and instead of creating a new recipe, why not look to Pinterest?
Here are the five pumpkin recipes that I’ve had pinned on my recipe board for a while that I can’t decide on (they all look so good!)…
Cream Cheese Filled Pumpkin Bread
So…what would you choose to make for Thanksgiving morning? I’ve been leaning towards the cream cheese filled pumpkin bread or the muffins. What do you think?
Because we are talking about all things pumpkin, I’m linking up with Jenn for What I Ate Wednesday. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
I was just thinking about what I wanted to make tomorrow morning for breakfast. I know for sure I’m making a frittata just not sure what else…. These all sound delicious!
I finally decided on the pumpkin cream cheese bread. It turned out so good! I’m definitely making it again.
I had to be at work at 7 this morning (only working till 11:30 though!) but I wanted the rest of the fam to have a little something special. So, I used a roll of crescent rolls (the only time of year I buy them) and “stuffed” them with a pumpkin mixture (pumpkin, a little sugar, and spices). Quick and easy enough to do before I headed out the door!
That’s a great idea! How did they turn out?
