I can’t believe it is Wednesday already. With Keenan’s party last Saturday and his actual birthday yesterday, this week is already flying by!
Anyhow, let’s get right to this week’s What I Ate Wednesday (and what this pregnancy has me craving now), thanks to Jenn for always hosting!
Since we took Keenan to the zoo and out to lunch for his birthday yesterday, I didn’t even think about taking pictures of my meals, so here are my eats from Monday…
Pre-workout Snack:
Half of a banana and a tablespoon of almond butter. Sorry, I ate it before I thought to take a picture of it!
Breakfast:
The best breakfast sandwich EVER! I microwaved egg whites mixed with spices and feta cheese and added tomato and avocado spread with mustard and a little ranch on toasted P28 Bread. It certainly satisfied my intense cravings for an egg sandwich! Keenan and I split the sandwich and he liked his so much that he practically inhaled it in less than 5 minutes!
Lunch:
A P28 wrap with turkey, tomato, avocado, wax peppers and spinach with a side of chopped tomatoes sprinkled with a pinch of salt and pepper. It seems all I’m craving for lunch these days are wraps; I just can’t get enough!
Snack:
Some Rocky Mountain white cheddar popcorn that Keenan and I shared. We ate it too fast for a picture!
Dinner:
True comfort food: ribs (left over from Keenan’s party), roasted potatoes and sauteed zucchini with sun dried tomatoes and onions.
That’s it for today. It’s time to try out the new Just Dance 4 game! I’m so excited to be a part of this year’s Just Dance Just Sweat Dream Team!
Questions:
What was your favorite meal that you ate today?
What is your comfort food?
Do you prefer breakfast sandwiches or breakfast burritos?
That breakfast sandwich looks ah-mazig. Totally making it. What’s this p bread?
Thanks! Oh, P28 Bread is my favorite bread right now. It’s packed with 22 grams of protein per slice and only contains 130 calories. It’s made with minimal wholesome ingredients, so it’s truly the best in my opinion! It is hard to find in stores, so I order it online.
Your meals always look so fresh and delicious. That breakfast sandwich just sounds amazing. I love adding feta cheese to my egg mixture before cooking it too 🙂
Thanks, Jessie, and likewise with all of your meals! Doesn’t feta cheese make everything taste better?
I just entered my 8 month of pregnancy. I’m totally craving salads and fruit! This is a good thing because I’ve been a little too relaxed in the weight gain department. 🙂 Your meals do look delicious!
Congrats on your pregnancy! At first I wasn’t craving salads and now it starting to come back!
