This is a fun recipe to make with your kids (as you can see Keenan loved it!). I was inspired after seeing a similar parfait recipe in Keenan’s Highlights magazine. Even if you don’t have little ones, this recipe is an easy, nutritious and tasty breakfast idea, especially for the Summer months!
Yogurt Breakfast Parfait For Kids
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp flaxseed (ground)
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1/4 cup strawberries (sliced)
- 1/4 cup granola or cereal of your choice
Instructions
- Mix yogurt with chia, flaxseed, honey and set aside.
- Take a parfait glass or cup and fill the bottom with your strawberries.
- Layer yogurt on top of strawberries.
- Lastly, top with blueberries and cereal. Enjoy!
