TGIF!
I’m SO excited it’s Friday and I am ready for the weekend to begin because we are heading to the beach for one last little getaway before baby #2 decides to arrive! I’m craving some good beach reading and lots of rest, especially after my husband and I have been working our tails off the past few weeks to get the baby’s room and other house projects completed.
Since we are hitting the road in a little bit, let’s get right to this week’s Friday Favorites, shall we? If you are new here, every Friday I like to reflect back on the week and cherish my favorite moment, eat(s) and workout, as a chance to slow down among the craziness in life and appreciate the little things. As of now, I’m no longer hosting a link up, but we’ll see how things go in the future.
Favorite Moment:
Playing “football” with Keenan and Lulu yesterday afternoon. I would throw the football to Keenan, he would throw it to Lulu and she would bring it back to me as a game of a fetch. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture, however I have to share this precious photo of Keenan napping the other day. He went to bed wearing his Spider Man shirt and I found him sleeping with the hood on; too cute!
Favorite Eat(s):
My wraps that I have been eating for lunch everyday. I can’t seem to get enough of them!
Favorite Workout:
Simple, but yet effective (it definitely made me one sweaty mess!):
Row 3500 meters
Since we will be on vacation next week, I’m going to try and take a break from the blogging world, but be sure to follow me on instagram and Twitter (if you don’t already!). Have a great weekend!!
Question:
What were some of your favorites from this past week?
How cute is Keenan in his spider man costume?! Haha! Jesse is convinced that when we have kids he is going to buy them every costume he can and that they’ll have to be allowed to wear them everywhere 😛 (I can’t say I disagree though, I was the little girl who had a wardrobe of Disney Princess costumes and is still known by the local bank and some of the old shopkeepers as “the little princess” hahaha :P)
The picture of that zucchini on your lunch plate totally has me craving zucchini. Yum, yum, yum!
My favourite thing this week had to be spending time with my mama. I’m so glad that she only works part time and that I can schedule my working week to have time with her.
I loved wearing costumes as a kid, too, and I love that Keenan is starting to get into it.
I’m glad you got to spend some time with your Mama last week. Have a great week!
Hope you’ve been enjoying your last getaway before baby #2 makes an appearance 🙂
Thanks! We are having a nice time and getting some much needed r&r before the little one arrives!
Love the spiderman picture!
Thanks! It’s one of his favorite shirts!
