We have been planning this trip for a year, and now we only have a couple of days left until we leave. I’m still not packed, and I have a million other things that I have to get done before our trip! Isn’t that always the case (especially with kids in tow) before going on vacation?
If you follow me on instagram, you probably saw the dresses from Athleta that I ordered.
I was super exited about Athleta’s new line of swim dresses and ones for travel because they have built in support and can be easily packed. In fact, this has been my favorite travel dress that I bought 5 years ago when my husband and I traveled to Italy before Keenan was born. It just fits me perfectly and doesn’t wrinkle.
As I was trying on all of the dresses and starting to pack last night, I have to say I was pretty bummed by how everything fit. The dresses did not fit the way they used to. Even though I ordered petites, the torsos were still too long and the bust was big. It’s funny because I ordered the same size as the dress above and the size that I am in their athletic clothing. Even the swimsuit was a little big in the butt and looked a little frumpy. Somehow Athleta’s sizing has changed. Thankfully, they have a great return policy because I sent all of the items back except for a navy blue tunic/cover-up!
I LOVE Athleta’s workout clothing, in fact I pretty much wear it exclusively when I workout and train clients. I wish their dresses and swimsuits fit the way their other clothes do!
Anyhow, here is what I’m packing for Hawaii…

I almost went to Hawaii on my spring break (last minute trip) but my connecting flight got disconnected =( I instead went to Seattle and Colorado so I made up for it!
Seattle and Colorado are fun, but hopefully you will have a chance to visit Hawaii soon!

The first time we went I way over packed. Now I pack enough bikinis and coverups for every day + a couple, a few sun dresses and my running shorts & sports bras. I love that you can go everywhere (even the grocery store) in a swimsuit and coverup!!!
