I’m sorry my posts have been hit or miss lately, but life has just been crazy busy the past few weeks. After our roadtrip, life has been non-stop every since (all good things!). Keenan turned five years old a couple of weeks ago, I started coaching his soccer team, I have taken on the Vice President position of his preschool, my personal training business has picked up to coaching clients 4 days a week (which is great!) and my Juice Plus business has also ramped up. So, needless to say, blogging has been put on the back burner. By the time the kids are in bed and the dishes are done, I’ve been on my computer working until I can no longer focus, which hasn’t left much adult time for my husband and me. Something has to give. I love blogging, coaching and inspiring healthy living in others, but my first priority is my family (the reason I have my own business to work around them). So, as I get ready to head to the beach with my mom and the kids for the week, I’m looking forward to some relaxation and quiet time to think about what lies ahead.

One of my goals for this year is to live more in the present, forget about my ongoing to-do list and truly enjoy every moment. While it is hard to always remember that, I definitely need to do a better job of keeping that in the forefront of my mind everyday. Life goes by too quickly (which I still can’t believe Keenan is 5!) and I don’t want to regret any moment of “having to finish just one more thing” before playing with my kids or truly being present with them. Life is about living, not crossing things off your to-do list!

I’m planning to truly unplug while we are at the beach, but you can always find me on instagram!
