I can’t believe it has been four months since I wrote a blog post. To tell you the truth, I haven’t really missed it. With everything else going on in my life, I needed every bit of the break. My training and Juice Plus business has expanded and filled more of my time, in a good way! Keenan starts Kindergarten this Wednesday, so the past couple of months while Mirella has taken her nap, I’ve been making sure to have special one-on-one time with him playing legos, checkers, play doh, reading, etc. instead of him having quiet time, since we won’t get that time once he starts school. Though I’m excited for him to start school (and he is very ready for it), I’m also kind of sad and overwhelmed by this new change (change has always been hard for me!) I’ve been used to him being home with me for the past 5 and a half years, so it will be weird to have him in school all day, every day. I just wish I could freeze time. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, right?

Anyhow, in addition to hanging out with Keenan in the afternoons, our Summer has definitely been busy, to say the least! In some ways, our Summer was busier than the school year! Keenan and Mirella both started out the Summer with swim lessons followed by Keenan doing swim team for the first time. My brother, sister-in-law and nieces were here for a few weeks and my best friend from Oregaon and her family visited us. Lastly, almost every weekend in July was spent at my in-law’s cabin in the mountains where we spent most of our time at the lake kakaying, swimming and fishing! It was a great Summer and one that we are all not ready to say goodbye to.

Summer Fun

With that being said, life has definitely been busy and blogging has taken a back burner. I’m ready to get back into it, but I’m not sure at what capacity. With Keenan in school full-time and Mirella still napping, I’m hoping I’ll have more time to blog, in addition to working my JP and training business while still staying sane and trying to balance it all, ha! Look for more posts to come!
